Privacy Policy
What we collect when you contact us, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. Who we are
Sunflora Solutions is a manufacturer and supplier of industrial packaging products, based in New Sangvi, Pune – 411027, Maharashtra, India. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Sunflora Solutions, and “you” means anyone who visits this website or contacts us through it.
This policy explains what personal data we collect through sunflora.co.in, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the enquiry form on our contact page, we receive the details you type into it:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your company name, if you provide one
- The product you are enquiring about
- The content of your message
We also receive whatever you choose to tell us if you email, call or message us on WhatsApp directly.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for every request to this site. These typically record your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string. We use these logs to keep the site running and to investigate abuse; we do not use them to build a profile of you.
What we do not collect
We do not sell anything online, so we never collect payment card details through this website. We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive personal data such as health, biometric or financial account information through the enquiry form.
3. Why we use it
We use the information above only to:
- answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation;
- contact you about an order, a delivery or a service issue;
- keep records of business correspondence, as any company does;
- maintain the security and performance of this website; and
- comply with our legal and tax obligations in India.
We do not use your details for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing email to people who have only made a one-off enquiry.
4. Lawful basis
We process personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the enquiry form or contact us, and, where applicable, for the legitimate purposes of responding to a request you have made and meeting our record-keeping obligations. This is consistent with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us at the address in section 10. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We share it only where it is necessary:
- with our web hosting and email providers, who process data on our behalf in order to run the site and deliver our mail;
- with logistics partners, where your address is needed to deliver an order you have placed;
- with our accountants or auditors, where a transaction must be recorded; and
- where we are required to disclose it by law, by a court, or by a government authority acting within its powers.
6. Third-party services
This site loads fonts, stylesheets and scripts from public content delivery networks — Google Fonts, jsDelivr, Cloudflare's cdnjs — so that pages load quickly. When your browser fetches those files, the provider necessarily sees your IP address and user-agent. We do not control what those providers log, and we have no access to it.
Links to our social media profiles open those platforms' own websites, which have their own privacy policies.
7. Cookies and local storage
This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. A service worker and browser storage may be used to cache pages and images so the site works faster and remains partly usable offline. That data stays in your own browser and is never sent to us.
You can clear it at any time through your browser's settings. Doing so will not stop you using the site.
8. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for up to two years, so that we can pick up the thread if you come back to us. Records relating to an actual order are kept for as long as Indian tax and company law requires, which is generally eight years from the end of the relevant financial year. Server logs are kept for a short period, as determined by our hosting provider, and then overwritten.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted in transit. Access to enquiry email is limited to the people in the business who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps proportionate to a business of our size.
If a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will act on it and notify you and the relevant authority where the law requires us to.
10. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the applicable law, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold and how we have used it;
- correct anything that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
- erase data we no longer need for the purpose it was collected for;
- stop processing it, by withdrawing your consent; and
- nominate another person to exercise these rights if you are unable to.
Write to sales@sunflora.co.in with the subject line “Data request”. We will respond within a reasonable period and in any event within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
11. Children
This is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.
12. AI crawlers and content use
We publish machine-readable signals at /robots.txt, /llms.txt and /.well-known/ai.txt describing how automated clients may use this site. In short: search engines and AI assistants are welcome to index our public business information and to cite it when answering questions, but we do not grant permission to use this site's content as training data for generative models, and we do not permit bulk scraping for resale or competitive intelligence.
Those signals concern our own published content. They do not affect anything in this policy about your personal data.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business or the law changes. The date at the top of the page always shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for a reasonable period.
